Travel day

ASIA TRIP DIARY

Had nice calls from Michael, Kimberley, Hannah and Mariah and Matthew, Sara, Noah and Eliana. Armed with our little 2 lbAsus Computer and Skype, we hope that it will be easy to keep in touch with them.

Well, the first leg of our trip started off well. Sally Allen drove us up to Tampa yesterday and we had dinner with her. We then spent the night at La Quinta Inn near the airport as we had a 6:15 a.m.. flight to Chicago which actually left on time. So, La Quinta will be bed number 1 and United to Chicago will be flight number 1 of this most amazing trip we are embarking on. We got up at 3:45 a.m. in order to catch the 4:45 shuttle to the airport. Had our Passover rolls with lox and cream cheese for breakfast so we are off to a great start. Met Bonnie and Harvey Sussman at the hotel. They are on their way to CA to see their kids. So perhaps, once again this trip may be keeping with our tradition of meeting people we know in far away places. We'll see who pops up next.
