5 days to go before we leave

It is amazing that we started packing for our trip to the Far East 5 days before we are to leave. This is the first time in 42 years (almost 43) we ever packed before the night before we leave on a trip. Well it was only a small travel bag, but we also got the other suitcases ready. I am sure we will not finish packing until late Friday afternoon. It appears to be a challenge for us to pack for 6+ weeks with a limit of 44 pounds in each of the large suitcases.

We have our itinerary for Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia thought out, sort of. Today we finally got the one for China and are working through some small issues that Sandye is dealing with.

Our plan is to go to Tampa Friday with Sally Allen driving(thanks Sally). We will take her to dinner and then check into a hotel. We leave at 6:13 am for Chicago and the first leg of our adventure.
